According to Esports Charts, the Tencent-developed battle royale shooter has been watched for 134.5 million hours. With 132.2 million watched hours, PUBG Mobile is followed by Garena's Free Fire. MOBAs Arena of Valor and Mobile Legends Bang Bang come in last, with Clash Royale completing out the top five.

Previously, Esports Charts claimed that, while PUBG Mobile is the most popular among Indonesian viewers, India's ban on the game had a significant impact. Despite the ban, India's viewership contributed 29.2 percent of PUBG Mobile hours watched in 2020. This resulted in the second-largest Hindi viewership for PUBG Mobile last year.

IGN India previously reported that the income of PUBG Mobile in the country was about 3 million dollars per month, largely from its royal assets and valuables. According to a recent episode of the popular esports podcast FTWImad, Free Fire India's revenue is estimated to be around $1 million per month.
